PELATIHAN PRAKTIKUM LABORATORIUM VIRTUAL FISIKA MENGGUNAKAN APLIKASI PHET SIMULATION TERINTEGRASI RW-VLAB BAGI GURU DAN SISWA

Abstract


Abstrak: Praktikum terbukti dapat menunjang optimalisasi konsep pada bidang ilmu sains seperti fisika, biologi, maupun kimia. Terbatasnya alat dan bahan pada laboratorium mengakibatkan mengakibatkan pemahaman konsep fisika masih kurang optimal. Agar siswa tetap melakukan praktikum di tengah keterbatasan alat praktikum dapat dilakukan menggunakan laboratorium virtual menggunakan Phet Simulation. Optimalisasi peningkatan konsep fisika telah dilakukan penelitian melalui pemanfaatan aplikasi Phet Simulation yang berbantuan LKPD reasoning worksheet based virtual laboratory (RW-Vlab). Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah mengetahui respon terhadap pelatihan, keterampilan menggunakan Phet Simulation, dan konsep kelistrikan. Kegiatan pelatihan ini menggunakan metode seminar, dan workshop penggunaan aplikasi Phet Simulation dengan melibatkan guru sejumlah 2, dan siswa sejumlah 51 di SMAN 1 Kamal. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah berupa angket respon yang dibagikan melalui Google form. Hasil pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat persentase respon pelatihan berupa penyampaian pelatihan 84% kategori sangat baik, modul pelatihan 84% kategori sangat baik. Respon terhadap keterampilan Phet Simulation berupa pemahaman Phet Simulation 84% sangat baik, mengoperasikan Phet Simulation 85%. Respon terhadap konsep yang meliputi pemahaman arah arus 83% kategori sangat baik, pemahaman terang lampu 84% termasuk kategori sangat baik.


Abstract: In the sciences like physics, biology, and chemistry, practicums have been shown to help the improvement of conceptual understanding. The limited supplies of tools and materials in the lab lead to a less than complete comprehension of physics ideas. This can be done by employing a virtual laboratory with Phet Simulation so that students can continue to complete practicums while having limited practicum equipment. Through the usage of the Phet Simulation application and the LKPD reasoning worksheet-based virtual laboratory (RW-Vlab), it has been discovered how to best develop physics ideas. Finding out how people respond to training, how well they can use Phet Simulation, and how they understand electrical concepts are the goals of community service projects. This training activity uses seminar methods and workshops on using the Phet Simulation application involving 2 teachers and 51 students at SMAN 1 Kamal. The instrument used was a questionnaire which was distributed via Google form. The results of this training show that the percentage level of training response in the form of training delivery is 84% in the very good category, 84% in the training module is in the very good category. Response to Phet Simulation skills in the form of understanding Phet Simulation 84% very well, operating Phet Simulation 85%. The response to the concept which includes understanding current direction is 83% in the very good category, understanding the light of the lamp is 84% in the very good category.
