PSIKOSOSIAL SEBAGAI BENTUK TRAUMA HEALING UNTUK ANAK-ANAK TERDAMPAK GEMPA DI DUSUN TANJUNG, KABUPATEN LOMBOK UTARA, NTB

Abstract


About 483 people died due to the earthquake which struck on Sunday 29 July 2018 which hit East Lombok by 6.4 SR and a week later followed by a 7.0 SR, earthquake which rocked again the Lombok Island on Sunday, 05 August 2018. The number of refugees is reported about 417,529. The loss of material in the form of damaged houses were around 71962 units, educational facilities around 671 units consisting of 124 people, 341 elementary schools, 145 junior high schools, 55 high schools, 50 vocational schools, 6 LSB, and 128 places reported damaged with 115 mosques,10 temples, and 3 health center. In addition, others public facilities were damaged about 6 bridges, 52 health facility units in the form of 1RS, 11 health centers, 35 sub-districts, 4 village health center and 1 pharmacy, and about 20 office buildings collapsed (MDMC NTB data, 2018). The earthquake also left the deep trauma for children, leaving a psychological impact. The joy of children is gone and fear continues to haunt them. Therefore, the effort of psychosocial application in the form of fun-educational and games is needed to help the mental recovery of children. Children need to change their paradigm from the frightening reality to the hopeful reality for their future is, they have to realize that life must go on and everything is going well.
