HUBUNGAN KECEMASAN IBU DAN DUKUNGAN SUAMI DENGAN EFIKASI DIRI IBU UNTUK MENYUSUI

Air Susu Ibu (ASI) merupakan nutrisi yang sangat penting dan paling ideal bagi bayi dalam mendukung tumbuh kembang bayi yang optimal. Dalam proses laktasi, terutama pada wanita yang baru pertama kali menjadi ibu umumnya mengalami kecemasan dan membutuhkan dukungan dari orang terdekat yaitu suami. Dukungan suami akan memengaruhi keberhasilan ibu dalam menyusui bayinya. Selain itu, dibutuhkan efikasi diri ibu untuk menyusui bayinya. Ibu dengan efikasi diri yang tinggi akan memiliki kepercayaan diri dan usaha untuk menyusui serta penanganan terhadap tantangan yang dihadapi selama proses menyusui. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kecemasan ibu dan dukungan suami dengan efikasi diri menyusui. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian cross-sectional. Sampel 62 orang ibu nifas dalam tiga bulan pertama postpartum di wilayak kerja Puskesmas Bandung. Tehnik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportionate stratified random sampling. Data diperoleh menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan uji fisher’s exact. Hasil penelitian didapatkan, dukungan suami berhubungan dengan efikasi diri ibu menyusui, sedangkan kecemasan ibu tidak berhubungan dengan efikasi diri ibu menyusui. Usia ibu merupakan faktor perancu. 

Breast milk is essential and the most ideal nutrient for support optimal baby’s growth. In lactation’s process, especially for first-time mothers, generally experiencing anxiety and need support from husband as the closest person. The husband's support will affect the success of a mother to breastfeed her baby. Furthermore, self-efficacy of mother's breastfeeding is needed to breastfeed her baby. Mothers with high self-efficacy will have the confidence and effort to breastfeed and deal with the challenges faced during the breastfeeding process. This research aimed to analyse the relationship between maternal anxiety and husband's support with breastfeeding self-efficacy. This study was a cross-sectional study. The sample size was 62 postpartum mothers in the first three months postpartum in the working area Bandung Public Health Service. The sampling technique used proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were obtained using a questionnaire. Data analysis used Fisher's exact test. Husband support was related to maternal breastfeeding self-efficacy. The result showed that husband’s support was related to maternal breastfeeding self-efficacy, while maternal anxiety was not related to it. Mother's age was the confounding factor.
