PENGEMBANGAN E-MODUL KETERAMPILAN TEKS LAPORAN HASIL OBSERVASI BERBASIS MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING

Abstract


Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan e-modul pembelajaran menulis teks laporan hasil observasi berbasis discovery learning yang valid (ditinjau dari segi isi, penyajian, kebahasaan dan kegrafikaan), praktis (ditinjau dari segi kemudahan dalam penggunaan dan kesesuaian dengan waktu), dan efektif (ditinjau dari aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar, dan afektif siswa) yang digunakan siswa kelas VIISMP. Data penelitian terdiri atas data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Data kualitatif dikumpulkan melalui pengisian angket validasi e-modul, angket praktikalitas e-modul, dan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran menulis teks laporan hasil observasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development). Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model 4-D (pendefenisian, perancangan, pengembangan dan penyebaran. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kleas VII. -1 SMP Negeri 7 Kerinci yang berjumlah 29 orang. Hasil penelitian ini ini menunjukan bahwa e-modul pembelajaran menulis teks laporan hasil observasi berbasis discovery learning yang diperoleh adalah valid, praktis, dan efektif. Hal itu dibuktikan dari hasil validitas, praktikalitas, dan efektivitas e-modul. Validitas e-modul oleh dua orang validator pakar diperoleh berdasarkan nilai validitas e-modul sebesar 96,59% sehingga e-modul berkategori sangat valid. Praktikalitas e-modul diperoleh berdasarkan nilai praktikalitas guru sebesar 92,05% dengan kategori sangat praktis dan praktikalitas siswa sebesar 82,33% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Aktivitas belajar siswa memperoleh nilai sebesar 92,18% dengan kategori sangan aktif. Efektivitas e-modul berdasarkan hasil tes kinerja siswa rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh siswa adalah 89 dengan predikat A. Efektivitas e-modul berdasarkan pengetahuan siswa rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh siswa adalah 86,5 dengan predikat A. Efektivitas modul berdasarkan penilaian berdasarkan nilai aspek sikap diperoleh nilai sebesar 91,6 dengan predikat A berkategori sangat efektif.

Abstract:  The purpose of this study describes the process of developing a learning e-module to write the text of an observation report based on discovery learning that is valid (in terms of content, presentation, linguistics and graphics), practical (in terms of ease of use and suitability with time), and effective (in terms of student activities, learning outcomes, and student affectiveness) used by class VII SMP students. Research data consists of qualitative data and quantitative data. Qualitative data was collected through filling out e-module validation questionnaires, e-module practicality questionnaires, and student activity observation sheets. Quantitative data were obtained from student learning outcomes in learning to write text reports of observation results. This type of research is research and development (research and development). The development model used is a 4-D model (definition, design, development and deployment. The subject of this study was a student of kleas VII. -1 Kerinci State Junior High School 7 which has 29 people. The results of this study show that the learning e-module writing the text of the discovery learning-based observation report obtained is valid, practical, and effective. This is evidenced by the results of the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the e-module. The validity of the e-module by two expert validators was obtained based on the validity value of the e-module of 96.59% so that the category e-module is very valid. The practicality of e-modules was obtained based on the teacher's practicality value of 92.05% with the category of very practical and the practicality of students of 82.33% with the category of very practical. Student learning activities obtained a score of 92.18%. with an active sangan category. The effectiveness of the e-module based on the results of the student performance test, the average score obtained by the student is 89 with the predicate A. Effectiveness of the e-module based on student knowledge the average score obtained by the student is 86.5 with the predicate A. Effectiveness of the module based on the assessment based on the value of the attitude aspect obtained a score of 91.6 with the predicate A category is very effective.
