Author Guidelines

SIAM invites scholars, researchers, lecturers, and students to contribute the results of their studies and research in fields related to Islam, Muslim Communities, and Muhammadiyah organizations, which include textual investigations and fieldwork with various perspectives on law, philosophy, tasawuf, history, art, theology, sociology, anthropology, political science, and others. The focus is to provide readers with a better understanding of Islamic Studies and the Muhammadiyah Organization, both in their development in Indonesia and abroad, and to present their development through the publication of articles. SIAM is expected to present developments in Indonesian Islamic studies and the Muhammadiyah organization and is intended to communicate original research and current issues on the subject.

 

Format :

  1. The manuscript is typed in Cambria, size 12 pts, with multiple spaces, on A4 paper 5-10 pages long, with the provision of a margin of 2.54 cm in the upper margin, 2.54 cm in the lower margin, 2.54 cm in the left margin, and 2.54 cm in the right margin. With a one column format
  2. The file was created with a high concocted in Microsoft Word format (doc/docx extension). The author's name was included without an academic degree and placed under the title of the article.
  3. Authors must include the agency's address and e-mail to provide communication.
  4. All section and sub-section headings are bold.
  5. Research article on research results: title; author's name (without academic degree); Abstract (maximum 250 words) containing the objectives, methods, and results of research; keywords; introduction (without title) which contains background, a little library limitation, research objectives, methods; meeting; conclusions and suggestions; aknowledgement; bibliography (only Resources referenced).
  6. Abstract research manuscript in English and Indonesian, abstract research must contain the title, objectives, methods, and research findings.
  7. The manuscript should be written in good Indonesian.
  8. The manuscript must follow the Article's template of the manuscript.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
 

Copyright Notice

The copyright of the received article shall be assigned to the journal as the publisher of the journal. The intended copyright includes the right to publish the article in various forms (including reprints). The journal maintains the publishing rights to the published articles.
