Matan Keyakinan Dan Cita -Cita Muhammadiyah
Abstract
This study aims to examine in depth the concept and implementation of the Matan Percaya dan Acita-cita Hidup Muhammadiyah (MKCHM) using a qualitative approach based on literature studies. The four main aspects that are the focus of the study are Iftitah, the content and explanation of MKCHM, and efforts to understand, internalize, and socialize this ideological document in the Muhammadiyah environment, especially in the formation of student character at Muhammadiyah Universities. The results of the study indicate that MKCHM is an ideological document that emerged from the dynamics of Muhammadiyah's history and politics after the Old Order, which made the Organization recognize itself as an Islamic and Da'wah Movement. However, there is a gap between the normative values of MKCHM and its understanding and implementation in reality among Muhammadiyah cadres and students today. The lack of integration in the curriculum and concerns about socialization have consequences for the degradation of ideological awareness. This study recommends an internalization strategy for ideology in the form of improving the AIK curriculum, cadre training, and digital da'wah media to ground MKCHM contextually and transformatively.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam konsep dan implementasi Matan Percaya dan Acita-cita Hidup Muhammadiyah (MKCHM) dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis studi pustaka. Empat aspek utama yang menjadi fokus penelitian adalah Iftitah, isi dan penjelasan MKCHM, serta upaya pemahaman, internalisasi, dan sosialisasi dokumen ideologi ini di lingkungan Muhammadiyah, khususnya dalam pembentukan karakter mahasiswa di Perguruan Tinggi Muhammadiyah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MKCHM merupakan dokumen ideologi yang muncul dari dinamika sejarah dan politik Muhammadiyah pasca Orde Lama yang membuat Persyarikatan mengakui dirinya sebagai Gerakan Islam dan Dakwah. Namun demikian, terdapat kesenjangan antara nilai-nilai normatif MKCHM dengan pemahaman dan implementasinya dalam realitas di kalangan kader dan mahasiswa Muhammadiyah saat ini. Minimnya integrasi dalam kurikulum dan kekhawatiran tentang sosialisasi berdampak pada degradasi kesadaran ideologi. Kajian ini merekomendasikan strategi internalisasi ideologi berupa penyempurnaan kurikulum AIK, pelatihan kader, dan media dakwah digital untuk membumikan MKCHM secara kontekstual dan transformatif.
