ANALISIS POLA SEBARAN DAN KESESUAIAN LOKASI KAWASAN BISNIS OLAHRAGA PADEL MENGGUNAKAN SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS DI KOTA BANDUNG

Abstract

Abstrak: Olahraga padel mengalami pertumbuhan pesat di Kota Bandung sejak tahun 2024, seiring meningkatnya gaya hidup rekreasi urban masyarakat kelas menengah atas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi persebaran lokasi persewaan lapangan padel, menganalisis pola sebaran spasialnya, menggali faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pemilihan lokasi usaha, serta menilai kesesuaian lokasi tersebut terhadap Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah (RTRW) Kota Bandung. Data spasial diperoleh melalui scraping Google Maps yang diverifikasi melalui ground checking, sedangkan data RTRW diperoleh dari BAPPEDA Kota Bandung; wawancara semi-terstruktur dilakukan terhadap 7 pengelola lapangan padel pada periode 3-10 April 2026. Pola sebaran dianalisis menggunakan metode Average Nearest Neighbor (ANN), sedangkan kesesuaian lokasi dinilai melalui overlay SIG. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 72 titik persewaan lapangan padel yang terkonsentrasi di wilayah utara, barat, dan pusat Kota Bandung, khususnya di Kecamatan Sukajadi, Cicendo, dan Bojongloa Kaler. Analisis ANN menghasilkan Nearest Neighbor Ratio sebesar 0,927 (z-score -1,187; p-value 0,235), yang menunjukkan pola persebaran bersifat acak dengan kecenderungan mengelompok yang lemah dan tidak signifikan secara statistik. Faktor lokasi usaha yang paling banyak dipertimbangkan pengelola adalah kombinasi kepemilikan lahan pribadi dan kedekatan dengan konsumen, diikuti aksesibilitas. Hasil overlay dengan RTRW menunjukkan 22 dari 72 titik (Y%) berada pada zona perdagangan dan jasa yang sesuai peruntukan, 32 titik (Y%) berada pada zona permukiman yang secara fungsional masih dapat diterima, dan sisanya (Y%) terindikasi berada pada zona yang tidak sesuai peruntukan RTRW.

 

Abstract:  Padel has experienced rapid growth in Bandung City since 2024, driven by the increasing popularity of urban recreational lifestyles among the upper-middle-class population. This study aims to identify the spatial distribution of padel court rental facilities, analyze their spatial distribution patterns, investigate the factors influencing business location selection, and evaluate their conformity with the Bandung City Spatial Plan (RTRW). Spatial data were obtained through Google Maps scraping and verified through ground checking, while the RTRW data were acquired from the Bandung City Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA). Semi-structured interviews were conducted with seven padel court operators between April 3 and April 10, 2026. The spatial distribution pattern was analyzed using the Average Nearest Neighbor (ANN) method, whereas location suitability was assessed through GIS-based overlay analysis. The results identified 72 padel court rental locations, predominantly concentrated in the northern, western, and central parts of Bandung City, particularly in Sukajadi, Cicendo, and Bojongloa Kaler Districts. The ANN analysis produced a Nearest Neighbor Ratio of 0.927 (z-score = –1.187; p-value = 0.235), indicating a random spatial distribution pattern with a weak tendency toward clustering that is not statistically significant. The primary factors influencing business location selection were the combination of private land ownership and proximity to customers, followed by accessibility. The GIS overlay analysis with the Bandung City Spatial Plan revealed that 22 of the 72 locations (Y%) were situated within commercial and service zones designated for such activities, 32 locations (Y%) were located within residential zones that remain functionally acceptable, while the remaining locations (Y%) were identified as being situated in zones inconsistent with the designated land use according to the spatial plan.
