Dampak Digitalisasi terhadap Kinerja dan Resiko di Sektor Perbankan
Abstract
Digital transformation in the banking sector has become a key driver in enhancing operational efficiency, service quality, and the competitiveness of financial institutions. This article analyzes the impact of digitalization on performance and risk in the banking sector, highlighting how technologies such as internet banking, mobile banking, artificial intelligence, and big data analytics are reshaping banking operations. The findings indicate that digitalization positively contributes to performance improvement through faster transaction processes, reduced operational costs, and greater service accessibility. However, digitalization also introduces new risks, particularly in terms of cybersecurity, data privacy, and technological dependence. Therefore, it is essential for banking institutions to manage digital transformation in a structured and sustainable manner to maximize its benefits while mitigating potential risks. This study provides valuable insights for stakeholders in understanding the strategic implications of digitalization on the sustainability and stability of the banking sector.
Transformasi digital di sektor perbankan telah menjadi faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, kualitas layanan, dan daya saing lembaga keuangan. Artikel ini menganalisis dampak digitalisasi terhadap kinerja dan risiko di sektor perbankan, dengan menyoroti bagaimana teknologi seperti internet banking, mobile banking, artificial intelligence, dan big data analytics mengubah cara bank beroperasi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kinerja melalui percepatan proses transaksi, penurunan biaya operasional, serta peningkatan aksesibilitas layanan. Namun, digitalisasi juga membawa risiko baru, terutama terkait keamanan siber, privasi data, dan ketergantungan terhadap teknologi. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi institusi perbankan untuk mengelola transformasi digital secara terstruktur dan berkelanjutan agar dapat memaksimalkan manfaatnya sekaligus memitigasi risikonya. Kajian ini memberikan wawasan bagi pemangku kepentingan dalam memahami implikasi strategis dari digitalisasi terhadap keberlangsungan dan stabilitas sektor perbankan.
