Model Pengorganisasian Berbasis Nilai Islam Modern: Studi Strategis atas Struktur dan Mekanisme Muhammadiyah

Abstract


Abstract: This study aims to analyze the revitalization model of Muhammadiyah's organizational system to formulate strategies for strengthening its formal and cultural structures based on modern Islamic values. A qualitative approach employing library research was used to systematically review scholarly literature published between 2015 and 2025, indexed in reputable databases such as Google Scholar, Scispace, Elicit, and Scite.ai. Findings reveal that the "5M" strategy (manhaj, manpower, management, meritocracy, mutualistic), professional governance, and transformational leadership significantly contribute to improving organizational effectiveness and adaptability amid social change. Case studies across various Muhammadiyah entities—including PCIM Malaysia, Muhammadiyah schools, and hospitals—highlight the importance of integrating Islamic values, digital innovation, and local cultural sensitivity into institutional frameworks. This study recommends enhancing leadership regeneration, implementing merit-based systems, and adopting value-based governance as core elements in Muhammadiyah’s structural reform. The results are expected to serve as a strategic reference for Muhammadiyah leaders in developing a progressive and context-sensitive institutional roadmap.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis model revitalisasi sistem pengorganisasian Muhammadiyah guna menyusun strategi penguatan struktur formal dan kultural organisasi berbasis nilai Islam modern. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode library research digunakan untuk menelaah literatur ilmiah dalam kurun 2015–2025 yang terindeks pada basis data bereputasi seperti Google Scholar, Scispace, Elicit, dan Scite.ai. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa strategi “5M” (manhaj, manpower, management, meritocracy, mutualistic), tata kelola profesional, serta kepemimpinan transformasional berkontribusi signifikan dalam memperkuat efektivitas organisasi dan daya adaptasinya terhadap perubahan sosial. Studi kasus di berbagai level organisasi Muhammadiyah, termasuk PCIM Malaysia, AUM sekolah, dan rumah sakit, menunjukkan pentingnya integrasi nilai Islam, digitalisasi, dan sensitivitas budaya lokal dalam desain kelembagaan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan kaderisasi, sistem meritokrasi, dan tata kelola berbasis nilai sebagai kunci reformasi struktural Persyarikatan. Hasil kajian ini diharapkan menjadi referensi strategis bagi pimpinan Muhammadiyah dalam menyusun roadmap kelembagaan yang progresif dan kontekstual.
