Implementasi Kebijakan Bantuan Sosial dalam Upaya Penanggulangan Kemiskinan Daerah

Abstract

Poverty remains one of the social issues that continues to pose a major challenge to development in various regions, particularly in Indonesia. The government has also introduced various social assistance policies as part of its efforts to improve public welfare and reduce poverty rates. This study aims to analyse the implementation of social assistance policies in regional poverty alleviation efforts and their relationship with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly the first goal, which is to eradicate existing poverty. The method used in this study is a literature review, examining various journals, books, and scientific sources relevant to the research topic. The findings indicate that social assistance policies play a crucial role in alleviating the economic burden on the poor, improving access to basic needs, and supporting the achievement of SDG 1. However, the implementation of these social assistance programmes still faces various challenges, such as targeting accuracy, distribution effectiveness, and oversight during implementation. Therefore, improvements in policy implementation are required so that these social assistance programmes can operate more effectively in tackling poverty.
