PERAN MEDIA SOSIAL INSTAGRAM DAN YOUTUBE DALAM PEMBUATAN ACARA DAN KEGIATAN KARANG TARUNA

Abstract


Abstrak: Karang Taruna adalah organisasi kepemudaan yang berperan penting dalam mengembangkan potensi generasi muda di lingkungannya. Kami mendapati bahwa Karang Taruna RT 010 RW 02 Kelurahan Susukan Kecamatan Ciracas Jakarta Timur kurang aktif dalam membuat acara dan kegiatan-kegiatan di lingkungannya. Salah satunya karena mereka belum memanfaatkan media sosial Instagram dan YouTube sebagai wadah mengekspresikan diri untuk aktif membuat kegiatan-kegiatan di lingkungannya. Untuk itu, kami melakukan sosialisasi tentang peran media sosial Instagram dan YouTube sebagai wadah mengekspresikan diri agar aktif membuat acara dan kegiatan-kegiatan kepemudaan di lingkungan RT 010 RW 02 Kelurahan Susukan, serta memberikan pelatihan cara mengedit video untuk mempublikasikannya di Instagram dan YouTube. Setelah dilakukan sosialisasi dan pelatihan, pada akhirnya Pemuda Karang Taruna RT 010 RW 02 Kelurahan Susukan Kecamatan Ciracas Jakarta Timur dapat mengedit video kegiatan mereka, dan siap untuk dipublikasikannya di Instagram dan YouTube dengan akun atau channel Karang Taruna RT 010 RW 02 Kelurahan Susukan Kecamatan Ciracas Jakarta Timur.

Abstract: Karang Taruna is a youth organization that plays an important role in developing the younger generation within local community. We found that Karang Taruna RT 010 RW 02 Kelurahan Susukan Kecamatan Ciracas Jakarta Timur is less active in creating events and activities within its community. For this reason, we conducted socialization about the role of social media like Instagram and YouTube, not only as a form of expression, but also as a form of creating events and activities. We also provided training on how to edit videos for Instagram and YouTube. After the socialization and training, this Karang Taruna is managed to edit their video documentation and published it to their Karang Taruna Instagram account and YouTube channel.
