Abstract

The decline in sales as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic which began in 2020 was around 75% which had a very bad impact on UMKM  businesses and there was still a decline until the following year in 2021. Strengthening of social capital in dealing with the current Covid-19 pandemic is an alternative strategy to stay afloat in difficult times. To assist the government's efforts in dealing with this problem and as a strategy for economic recovery, Lecturer Service Team of STIA Mataram carried out services through educating and outreach to several UMKM actors in Sukarara Village, Central Lombok District. This service is carried out with the aim of educating UMKM actors on the importance of implementing the 5M Health Protocol (Prokes) in dealing with the corona virus, namely the implementing of wearing masks, keeping distance, washing hands, avoiding crowds and reducing mobility (Kemenkes RI, 2021). The method applied is in the form of educational and socialization. The results obtained are increasing knowledge of the participants, which in this case are UMKM actors in Sukarara Village, Central Lombok District, so that the economic recovery can be resolved.
