Tujuan UCLG ASPAC dalam Implementasi Kerjasama Lingkungan Climate Resilience and Inclusive Cities (CRIC) Project di Kota Cirebon

Abstract


Pada tahun 2020 lalu, Kota Cirebon dipilih oleh UCLG ASPAC sebagai salah satu kota percontohan dalam sebuah proyek kerjasama lingkungan bernama Climate Resilience and Inclusive Cities (CRIC). Meskipun begitu, Pemerintah Kota Cirebon pada dasarnya sudah memiliki berbagai upaya dalam menangani permasalahan ketahanan iklim yakni dengan pengembangan program Kampung Iklim (Proklim) hingga pengembangan program Pelayanan Sampah dan Kebersihan. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berbasis internet, dokumen dan wawancara. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori peran organisasi internasional untuk menjelaskan tujuan UCLG ASPAC dalam implementasi kerjasama lingkungan Climate Resilience and Inclusive Cities (CRIC) Project di Kota Cirebon. Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pemlihan Kota Cirebon sebagai kota percontohan dalam proyek CRIC oleh UCLG ASPAC didorong oleh adanya isu perubahan iklim yang mana dalam hal ini UCLG ASPAC menginginkan agar kota tersebut bertindak sesuai dengan arahan UCLG ASPAC khususnya dalam upaya menangani perubahan iklim di Kawasan Asia Pasifik.
