Peran Media Sosial dalam Memediasi Pengaruh Literasi Digital terhadap Produktivitas Ekonomi Mahasiswa

Abstract


Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran media sosial dalam memediasi pengaruh literasi digital terhadap produktivitas ekonomi mahasiswa program studi Ekonomi Syariah Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram (UMMAT). Teknik penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif . Data primer dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner. Data diambil dengan menggunakan teknik non-probability sampling, sedangkan metode purposive sampling di gunakan untuk pemilihan sampel. Teknik Statistik Deskriptif digunakan untuk meninjau gambaran umum variabel, dan partial least square (PLS) digunakan untuk menganalisis hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi digital berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas ekonomi mahasiswa, literasi digital berpengaruh terhadap pemanfaatan media sosial dan media sosial mampu memediasi pengaruh literasi digital terhadap produktivitas ekonomi. Implikasi dari temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya meningkatkan tingkat literasi digital mahasiswa untuk mendukung inklusi digital, pemberdayaan ekonomi, dan pemberdayaan mahasiswa dalam pemanfaatan media sosial secara positif dan produktif untuk meningkatkan produktivitas ekonomi di era digital.


Abstract: This study aims to analyze the role of social media in mediating the effect of digital literacy on the economic productivity of students of the Sharia Economics study program at Muhammadiyah Mataram University (UMMAT). The research technique uses quantitative methods. Primary data was collected through questionnaires. Data were collected using non-probability sampling techniques, while purposive sampling method was used for sample selection. Descriptive statistical techniques are used to review the general description of variables, while hypothesis analysis uses partial least square (PLS). The results showed that digital literacy affects student economic productivity, digital literacy affects social media utilization and social media is able to mediate the effect of digital literacy on economic productivity. The implications of these findings highlight the importance of increasing the level of digital literacy of students to support digital inclusion and economic empowerment, as well as empowering students to utilize social media positively and productively to increase economic productivity in the digital era.
