Pengembangan Model Transportasi Publik Menggunakan Pendekatan Time Series dan Data Sosial Media untuk Meningkatkan Minat Masyarakat

Abstract


Abstract: This study constitutes a systematic review of literature investigating the integration of time series analysis and sentiment analysis from social media in the context of developing public transportation models. Over the period from 2014 to 2024, sources indexed in Scopus, DOAJ, and Google Scholar were selected to explore the application of these methods. The findings indicate that time series analysis, particularly through techniques like Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) models, effectively enhances the accuracy of forecasting public transportation demand by leveraging data from smart cards and travel time observations. Conversely, sentiment analysis from social media platforms such as Twitter provides profound insights into public perceptions of transportation services, crucial for enhancing user satisfaction and participation in public transport usage. The study underscores the importance of integrating data from diverse sources to develop models that are more accurate and responsive to transportation user needs. The implications of these findings for transportation policy and future research directions are also discussed.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan tinjauan sistematis terhadap literatur yang menginvestigasi integrasi antara analisis deret waktu dan analisis sentimen dari media sosial dalam konteks pengembangan model transportasi publik. Dalam periode penelitian dari tahun 2014 hingga 2024, sumber literatur dari pengindek Scopus, DOAJ, dan Google Scholar dipilih untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan metode ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa analisis deret waktu, khususnya melalui teknik seperti model Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), efektif dalam meningkatkan akurasi peramalan permintaan transportasi umum dengan memanfaatkan data dari kartu pintar dan pengamatan waktu perjalanan. Di sisi lain, analisis sentimen dari platform media sosial seperti Twitter memberikan wawasan yang mendalam tentang persepsi masyarakat terhadap layanan transportasi, yang krusial untuk meningkatkan kepuasan pengguna dan partisipasi dalam penggunaan transportasi umum. Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya integrasi data dari sumber yang berbeda untuk mengembangkan model yang lebih akurat dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan pengguna transportasi. Implikasi dari temuan ini untuk kebijakan transportasi dan arah riset mendatang juga dibahas.
