Meningkatkan Minat Belajar dan Pemahaman Siswa Terhadap Materi Fisika melalui Pembelajaran Interaktif Berbasis Scratch

Abstract


Abstract: This study aims to evaluate and identify the impact of interactive Scratch-based learning on students' interest and understanding in Physics through a systematic literature review approach. The research method employed is quantitative, involving a systematic review of the literature. Literature searches were conducted through reputable academic databases such as Google Scholar, PubMed, IEEE Xplore, Scopus, and Web of Science using keywords like "Scratch," "Physics," "interactive learning," "student interest," "student understanding," and "Physics education." Articles were screened based on the relevance of their titles and abstracts, as well as full-text availability. Inclusion criteria comprised studies discussing the use of Scratch in Physics education, evaluating students' interest and understanding, published within the last ten years, and utilizing quantitative or mixed methods. The selection process involved reading titles, abstracts, and full texts, followed by data extraction using a specific form to record essential information. Data were analyzed descriptively and, where possible, meta-analysis techniques were employed to determine the overall effect size of Scratch usage on students' interest and understanding. The results indicate that the use of Scratch significantly enhances students' interest and comprehension in Physics. These findings have practical implications for the development of more effective and engaging teaching methods and provide recommendations for future research.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan mengidentifikasi dampak pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Scratch terhadap minat belajar dan pemahaman siswa dalam materi Fisika melalui pendekatan systematic literature review. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan melakukan tinjauan literatur secara sistematis. Pencarian literatur dilakukan melalui database akademik bereputasi seperti Google Scholar, PubMed, IEEE Xplore, Scopus, dan Web of Science dengan kata kunci "Scratch", "Fisika", "pembelajaran interaktif", "minat belajar", "pemahaman siswa", dan "pendidikan Fisika". Artikel disaring berdasarkan relevansi judul dan abstrak, serta akses ke teks lengkap. Kriteria inklusi meliputi studi yang membahas penggunaan Scratch dalam pendidikan Fisika, mengevaluasi minat belajar dan pemahaman siswa, diterbitkan dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir, serta menggunakan metode kuantitatif atau mixed methods. Proses seleksi melibatkan pembacaan judul, abstrak, dan teks lengkap, diikuti ekstraksi data menggunakan formulir khusus untuk mencatat informasi penting. Data dianalisis deskriptif dan, jika memungkinkan, menggunakan teknik meta-analisis untuk menentukan ukuran efek penggunaan Scratch terhadap minat belajar dan pemahaman siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Scratch secara signifikan meningkatkan minat belajar dan pemahaman siswa dalam materi Fisika. Temuan ini memiliki implikasi praktis dalam pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan menyenangkan, serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk penelitian masa depan.
