Pengaruh Game Edukatif Matematika terhadap Kemampuan Penyelesaian Masalah Siswa

Abstract


Abstract: The application of gamification in educational mathematics games has shown a significant positive impact on students' motivation and problem-solving abilities in mathematics. This study conducts a systematic literature review focusing on publications from 2014 to 2024 sourced from indexing platforms such as Google Scholar, DOAJ, and Scopus. The analysis reveals that integrating game elements such as challenges, points, levels, and rewards encourages active student participation in learning, enhances their engagement, and strengthens their problem-solving skills and mathematical knowledge. These findings underscore gamification's effectiveness as an approach to stimulate mathematics learning interest and improve students' academic outcomes. The implications of this research provide a robust foundation for further development in designing educational mathematics games that support student-centered learning and aim for enhanced problem-solving abilities in mathematics.

Abstrak: Penerapan gamifikasi dalam permainan edukatif matematika telah menunjukkan pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap motivasi dan kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika. Penelitian ini melakukan tinjauan literatur sistematis dengan fokus pada publikasi terbitan antara tahun 2014 hingga 2024 dari sumber indeks seperti Google Scholar, DOAJ, dan Scopus. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa integrasi elemen-elemen permainan seperti tantangan, poin, tingkat, dan hadiah mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran, meningkatkan keterlibatan mereka, serta memperkuat keterampilan pemecahan masalah dan pengetahuan matematika. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya gamifikasi sebagai pendekatan yang efektif dalam merangsang minat belajar matematika dan memperbaiki hasil akademis siswa. Implikasi penelitian ini memberikan dasar yang kuat untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam desain permainan edukatif matematika yang mendukung pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa dan berorientasi pada hasil yang lebih baik dalam memecahkan masalah matematika.
