EDUKASI LITERASI KEUANGAN DALAM UPAYA PENCEGAHAN PENIPUAN PINJAMAN ONLINE

Abstract


Abstrak: Pinjaman Online (Pinjol) merupakan trend baru dalam transaksi keuangan digital dengan berbagai kemudahan yang ditawarkan. Sehingga untuk menghindari terjadinya penipuan pinjol maka masyarakat perlu diberi edukasi literasi keuangan agar memiliki kemampuan dalam melakukan proteksi data pribadi. Adapun tujuan kegiatan PKM ini untuk meningkatkan hardskill dan softskill masyarakat agar memiliki pengetahuan dan skill dalam memanfaatkan berbagai fasilitas pinjol dan mampu membedakan pinjol legal dan pinjol ilegal secara hukum. Berdasarkan data Satuan Tugas Pemberantasan Aktivitas Keuangan Ilegal (Satgas PASTI), pada tahun 2023 terdapat 173 pinjol, 129 konten terkait pinjaman pribadi (pinpri), 1.196 entitas investasi, 6.055 entitas pinjaman online atau pinpri, dan 251 entitas gadai yang dinyatakan illegal dan sudah diblokir. Sehingga untuk melakukan proteksi terhadap praktek pinjol maka dalam PKM ini dilakukan edukasi kepada masyarakat pengenalan situs/platform digital yang berpotensi pinjol illegal. Kegiatan PKM ini melibatkan 3 mitra, yaitu unsur Pemerintah Kelurahan Mallewang, PKK, dan Karangtaruna Kabupaten Takalar. Metode untuk mengukur tingkat keberhasilan edukasi literasi keuangan, menggunakan pendekatan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pada saat dilakukan pre-test dari 63 peserta hanya 20% masyarakat memahami literasi keuangan dan praktek Pinjol, kemudian diakhir kegiatan dilakukan post-test terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan 94,44% masyarakat sudah mengenal dan memahami praktek pinjol illegal dengan modus yang digunakan serta memahami proteksi data pribadi.

Abstract: Fintech Lending are a new trend in digital financial transactions with numerous conveniences offered. Hence, people need to be given financial literacy education to protect their data and to avoid the Fintech Lending Scam. The aim of this Community Service (PKM) is to improve the hard and soft skills of the society in order to utilize various facilities of Fintech Lending and are able to distinguish it legally. Based on the data from the Task Force for Eradicating Illegal Financial Activities (Satgas PASTI), in 2023 there was about 173 of Fintech Lending, 129 content related to personal loan (pinpri), approximately 1,196 investments of equity, 6,055 was for entities or personal loan. 251 of them were illegal pawn entities and have been blocked by pertinent authority. Therefore, to against that scam practice, this research conducted the introduction of digital sites or platforms illegally for society. This PKM activity involves 3 partners namely Mallewang Subdistrict Government, Family Welfare and Empowerment Organization (PKK), and Karangtaruna in Takalar district. Pre-test and post-test approach were used to measure the level of success of financial literacy education. The evaluation result showed that when the pre-test was carried out of 63 participants, only 20% of them understood about financial literacy and the online loans parties. Ath the end of post-test, there was about 94,4% of society significantly increase on recognize and comprehend the illegal category and the methods used as well as figured out of how to protect their personal data.
