Sosialisasi Pencegahan Tindakan Bullying Sebagai Upaya Mewujudkan Sekolah Aman dan Ramah Anak
Abstract
Bullying in elementary schools poses a serious threat to children's development. This study aims to describe and evaluate a bullying prevention outreach program at SDN 4 Danger, to create a safe and child-friendly school environment. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, the study involved students, teachers, and parents. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed inductively with triangulation. The results showed an increase in students' understanding of bullying, with more than 80% able to recognize its forms and impacts, although 13% still had difficulty distinguishing between teasing and bullying. The program also encouraged behavioral changes, reflected in a 70% decrease in teasing cases, a 65% increase in reporting behavior, and a more conducive classroom atmosphere of up to 75%. Parents are increasingly recognizing the importance of communicating with their children, although some are not yet fully engaged in this process. Teachers reported increased sensitivity in recognizing subtle bullying and the need for ongoing supervision. The study concluded that the most effective prevention strategy is through a participatory approach involving the entire school community, while providing an academic contribution to the literature on bullying prevention in Indonesia and a practical model that can be replicated in other elementary schools.
