Author Guidelines

A. General Provisions

  1. The submission has not been published and has not been accepted for publication in other journals.
  2.  The submission is typed in 1,5 spaces using quarto paper (A4); fonts of Times New Roman size 10, the right and left of 2 cm, and for top, bottom margins of 3,5 cm.
  3. The submission is typed with two column layout.
  4. The submission is written in Indonesia or English in accordance with general guidelines.
  5. Please download the template to make your article match our guidelines.


  1. The abstract is written both in indonesia and English.
  2. The abstract consists of max. 250 words that explain the objectives, brief methods, significant findings, and there should not be any references.
  3. The abstract is typed in single spaces, fonts of Times New Roman size 10


  1. Background of study
  2. Provide a short review of the pertinent literature, state the originality of the research, and state the research objectives.
  3. Covers the factual and actual problems, challenges, or requirements needed by the community-related to the research purposes.


  1. Data collection techniques (including sample selection techniques, validity, and reliability of data collection tools).
  2. Location, time, and duration of activities.
  3. The Methods is typed in 1,5 spaces, fonts of Times New Roman size 10 for body text and Arial all Caps 10 for sub title,

Result and Discussion

  1. The documentation was relevant with a focus on community empowerment activities.
  2. The results must be presented correctly and accompanied by an explanation without reference to the literature.
  3. The discussion must interpret the findings expressed in the results obtained with the background of existing knowledge.
  4. The discussion must highlight a new perspective. Each assumption must be clearly stated. 


  1. The conclusion must provide the main result from discussion.
  2. The conclusion must provide advice for further community empowerment.


  1. The author need write the advised to submit further research to the next researcher.


  1. The acknowledgment list consists of people who provided assistance during community empowerment activities.
  2. Declaration of Conflict of Interest must be clearly written when you (or your company or sponsor) have a financial, commercial, legal, or professional relationship with another organization, or with people who work with them, which contributed to your research.


  1. Authors are strongly urged to use a reference manager Mendeley to build their bibliography.
  2. References are written based on APA (American Psychological Association) format.
  3. References are listed alphabetically.
  4. References only list literature that you have quoted in the text.


Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

The author whose manuscript is published agrees to the following conditions:

  1. The right to publish all journal manuscripts published on the Journal Agro Dedikasi Masyarakat E-Journal website held by the editorial board with the author's acknowledgment (moral rights remain with the author of the script).
