PEMANFAATAN MEDIA AUDIOVISUAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN LITERASI DIGITAL DI SDN 47 MATARAM

Abstract


Abstrak: Literasi digital adalah kemampuan yang sangat penting yang harus dikembangkan sejak tingkat sekolah dasar untuk mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tantangan belajar di era digital. Namun dalam praktiknya, penggunaan media digital di sekolah dasar masih terbatas dan tidak sepenuhnya terintegrasi dengan baik dalam proses pembelajaran.Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital siswa SDN 47 Mataram dengan memanfaatkan media audiovisual dalam proses belajar mengajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pendekatan yang partisipatif dan edukatif, yang meliputi tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan media audiovisual, pendampingan untuk guru, serta evaluasi dari kegiatan tersebut. Media audiovisual yang digunakan terdiri dari video edukatif dan tayangan interaktif yang dirancang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa di sekolah dasar. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan partisipasi siswa dalam belajar, pemahaman terhadap konten digital yang edukatif, serta kemampuan siswa dalam mengakses dan menganalisis informasi digital dengan lebih kritis. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga memberikan dampak positif pada peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam mengintegrasikan media audiovisual ke dalam pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media audiovisual terbukti efektif sebagai strategi untuk memperkuat literasi digital para siswa di sekolah dasar. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi contoh praktik yang baik dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran yang berbasis literasi digital secara kontekstual dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract:  Digital literacy is a very important skill that must be developed from elementary school level to prepare students to face learning challenges in the digital age. However, in practice, the use of digital media in elementary schools is still limited and not fully integrated into the learning process. This community service activity aims to improve the digital literacy of students at SDN 47 Mataram by utilizing audiovisual media in the teaching and learning process. The method used in this community service is a participatory and educational approach, which includes the stages of preparation, implementation of learning with audiovisual media, assistance for teachers, and evaluation of the activities. The audiovisual media used consists of educational videos and interactive shows designed in accordance with the characteristics of elementary school students. The results of this activity show an increase in student participation in learning, understanding of educational digital content, and students' ability to access and analyze digital information more critically. In addition, this activity also had a positive impact on improving teachers' ability to integrate audiovisual media into learning. Thus, the use of audiovisual media has proven to be effective as a strategy to strengthen digital literacy among elementary school students. This activity is expected to serve as an example of good practice in developing contextual and sustainable digital literacy-based learning.
