PENYULUHAN 6 LANGKAH CARA MENCUCI TANGAN UNTUK MENGGURANGI KEJADIAN COVID-19 PADA SISWA/I SMK YARSI MEDIKA DI TANGERANG

Abstract


Abstrak: Covid-19adalah penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus SARS-CoV-2 yang merupakan bagian dari tipe virus Corona. Virusbisa menular jika kontak langsung dengan orang yang terinfeksi, terkena cairan yang dikeluarkan saat batuk dan bersin, atau ketika menyentuh benda-benda yang telah terkontaminasi dengan tangan lalu menyentuh wajah (mata, mulut, dan hidung). Sekolah adalah salah satu institusi penting untuk melaksanakan program promosi kesehatan dimana rendahnya kesadaran para siswa untuk mencuci tangan dengan menggunakan air mengalir dan sabun. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan dari 177 siswa serta mengevaluasi ketersediaan sarana cuci tangan. Adapun metode pada kegiatan ini yaitu dengan pendekatan persuasif edukatif meliputi (1) Pre tes melalui pengisian kuesioner, (2) Penyuluhan tentang cuci tangan yang benar untuk mencegah Covid-19, (3) Pos tes melalui pengisian kuesioner. Hasil yang di dapatkan Pengetahuan Siswa Tentang Covid-19 menunjukan terdapat 85% responden, Siswa Tentang Mencuci Tangan menunjukan terdapat 79% responden, Keterampilan Siswa dalam Mencuci Tangan terdapat 63% responden dari 100% dengan kategori baik.

Abstract: Covid-19 is a disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus which is part of the Corona virus type. The virus can be transmitted by direct contact with an infected person, by exposure to fluids released when coughing and sneezing, or by touching contaminated objects with your hands and then touching your face (eyes, mouth and nose). Schools are one of the important institutions to carry out health promotion programs where there is a low awareness of students to wash their hands using running water and soap. This activity aims to improve students' knowledge, attitudes, and skills as well as evaluate the availability of hand washing facilities. The method in this activity is an educative persuasive approach including (1) Pre-test through filling out a questionnaire, (2) Counseling on proper hand washing to prevent Covid-19, (3) Post-test through filling out a questionnaire. The results obtained are broadly speaking, students' knowledge, skills and attitudes have increased, although some have decreased. Identified several obstacles to facilities and infrastructure at schools related to hand washing.
