Abstract


This study aims to examine the integration of Augmented Reality (AR) and Deep Learning (DL) as innovations in digital-era education. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this study analyzes scientific literature published between 2016 and 2025, obtained from various databases such as Scopus, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, and Google. The selection and data extraction processes were carried out systematically based on strict inclusion and exclusion criteria. The synthesis results indicate that AR is effective in enhancing students’ motivation, engagement, and conceptual understanding through interactive visualizations. Meanwhile, DL enables data-driven personalized learning, allowing instructional strategies to be adaptively tailored to individual needs. The combination of these two technologies has the potential to create more immersive and contextual learning experiences; however, its implementation still faces challenges related to infrastructure, teacher competency, and data privacy issues. This study recommends further research on hybrid AR–DL models, ethical considerations, and strengthening teacher training to optimize 21st-century learning.
