Analisis Bibliometrik Tren Penelitian Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia untuk Keterampilan Membaca Menggunakan VOSviewer
Abstract
This study analyzes the trends in scientific publications on the development of Indonesian language learning media for reading skills using a bibliometric approach assisted by VOSviewer. The method employed is Bibliometric-Systematic Literature Review (B-SLR) with data sourced from Google Scholar, DOAJ, and Scopus for the 2016-2025 period. The analysis was conducted through keyword co-occurrence mapping, network visualization, overlay, and density visualization using VOSviewer to identify cluster structures, dominant themes, research evolution, and research gaps. The results show that the cluster structure consists of four main clusters—conceptual, media development, learning implementation, and effectiveness testing—systematically interconnected through bridge keywords such as education, effectiveness, and digital medium . Dominant keywords such as language, subject, effect, evaluation, and reading comprehension skill serve as indicators of the most intensive research focus . The research evolution shows a shift from theoretical studies (2014-2019) toward technology development (2020-2022) and innovative methods (2023-2024) . However, density visualization reveals low-density keywords such as implementation, Indonesian, and classroom action research, indicating the need for further exploration of classroom implementation and adaptive instructional design . This study provides a roadmap for the development of adaptive and sustainable Indonesian language learning media in the digital era.
