Analisis Efektivitas Tata Kelola Pariwisata di Taman Wisata Alam Kawah Ijen: Koordinasi Stakeholder, Fasilitas, dan Partisipasi Masyarakat

Abstract

This study aims to analyze tourism management in Ijen Crater in order to improve the effectiveness of sustainable tourism management. Ijen Crater is one of the leading natural tourism destinations in East Java, which has the attraction of the *blue fire* phenomenon, a conservation area, and its status as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The increase in the number of tourists each year has a positive impact on the regional economy and local communities, but also poses various challenges in managing the tourism area. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through literature studies and document analysis from various journals, policy reports, and publications related to the management of Ijen Crater. The results show that tourism management in Ijen Crater has been running quite well in increasing tourist visits and community income, but the effectiveness of management still faces several obstacles, such as limited facilities, weak coordination between stakeholders, suboptimal environmental management, and low community involvement in decision-making. To improve the effectiveness of tourism management, it is necessary to strengthen integrated governance through digitalization of the management system, improvement of tourism facilities, strengthening coordination between parties, and increasing local community participation in area management. With more sustainable management, Ijen Crater has the potential to become an ecotourism destination that is able to balance economic, social, and environmental aspects.
