Abstract

Abstract: This journal examines the concepts of learning and teaching as the core of the educational process, playing a vital role in shaping individual character, intellect, and morality. Learning is understood as an active process involving the processing of information, internalization, and application of knowledge, while teaching refers to a series of structured activities designed to create meaningful learning experiences. Through a flexible, adaptive, and learner-centered approach, teaching aims not only to enhance students' cognitive abilities but also to build life values that are applicable to everyday life. This journal analyzes various theories, methods, and effective teaching strategies, including the use of interactive media, group work, and hands-on practice, as well as the relevance of their application in the context of modern education. Thus, this paper not only provides a theoretical foundation on learning and teaching but also offers inspiration for educators to create a transformative and meaningful learning environment. The journal employs a literature study method to analyze the concepts of learning and teaching through various relevant primary and secondary sources, including educational theories and related journals. The results of the study show that effective learning processes involve the active engagement of students in understanding and applying knowledge, while teaching requires structured, flexible strategies centered on individual needs. A holistic learning approach, encompassing cognitive, affective, and social aspects, has been proven to create an inclusive learning environment that supports the development of students' character and intellect. Various methods, such as interactive discussions, project-based learning, and the use of interactive media, are analyzed to demonstrate their relevance and application in today's educational context. Therefore, this journal provides insights into the importance of designing learning experiences that are not only oriented towards academic achievement but also towards the formation of individuals with integrity and the ability to contribute meaningfully to society. The journal concludes that the processes of learning and teaching play a crucial role in shaping individuals who are not only intellectually competent but also possess strong character and integrity. Effective teaching approaches emphasize active engagement, role modeling, and holistic education that covers cognitive, affective, and social dimensions. Teaching serves not only to transfer knowledge but also to build the complete personality of learners, preparing them to face the challenges of the modern world. By analyzing contemporary educational theories and practices, this journal offers recommendations for educators to integrate innovative methods, such as project-based learning and collaboration, with humanistic and moral values. It is hoped that the results of this study can inspire the creation of a generation that is not only academically competent but also capable of making positive contributions to society.
