Pelatihan Calon Guru Bahasa Inggris dalam Penggunaan Platform Quizbot Berbasis Web untuk Pembelajaran Membaca Interaktif
Abstract
Abstract: This community service program aims to enhance the digital pedagogical competence and confidence of pre-service English teachers in utilizing a web-based Quizbot platform for interactive reading instruction. Employing a participatory training approach, the activity was conducted on May 8, 2026, involving ten pre-service teachers from the English Language Education Study Program at Nias University. The program was organized into five systematic stages: needs analysis, preparation, training implementation, guided practice and teaching simulations, and evaluation. Data were collected through direct observation, participant performance assessments, and collaborative reflection sessions. The findings indicate a substantial improvement in the participants' technical and professional skills. Participants successfully transitioned from passive technology use to the ability to independently design authentic reading texts, create multi-format comprehension quizzes, and manage automated feedback systems. Teaching simulations and reflection sessions highlighted the program's effectiveness in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical digital classroom application, as well as in enhancing the participants' readiness for 21st-century language teaching.
