Strategi Manajemen Humas Pendidikan Dalam Menyamakan Visi Sekolah, Orang Tua, Dan Kepolisian Untuk Meningkatkan Disiplin Dan Keberlanjutan Pendidikan Siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Merangin
Abstract
Abstract: This study aimed to analyze educational public relations management strategies in aligning the vision of schools, parents, and the police to improve student discipline and educational sustainability at SMA Negeri 2 Merangin. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews with the principal, public relations vice principal, teachers, parents, police officers, and students, as well as documentation. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that public relations management strategies were implemented through strengthening communication and coordination among stakeholders, conducting regular meetings with parents, establishing collaboration with the police in fostering discipline and preventing juvenile delinquency, and utilizing school communication media. These collaborative efforts successfully aligned stakeholders' educational vision, increased parental involvement in students' development, strengthened the culture of discipline, and supported educational sustainability by creating a safe, conducive, and collaborative learning environment.
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi manajemen humas pendidikan dalam menyamakan visi antara sekolah, orang tua, dan kepolisian guna meningkatkan disiplin serta keberlanjutan pendidikan siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Merangin. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang humas, guru, orang tua, pihak kepolisian, dan siswa, serta studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan uji keabsahan menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi manajemen humas dilaksanakan melalui penguatan komunikasi dan koordinasi antarpemangku kepentingan, penyelenggaraan pertemuan rutin dengan orang tua, kerja sama dengan kepolisian dalam pembinaan kedisiplinan dan pencegahan kenakalan remaja, serta pemanfaatan media komunikasi sekolah. Sinergi tersebut mampu menyamakan visi pendidikan, meningkatkan kepedulian orang tua terhadap perkembangan siswa, memperkuat budaya disiplin, serta mendukung keberlanjutan pendidikan melalui lingkungan belajar yang aman, kondusif, dan kolaboratif.Keywords
