Presepsi Mahasiswa: Penerapan Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek Pada Pembelajaran Biokimia Terapan

Abstract


Abstract:  Learning in the 21st century is learning various things, such as knowledge, skill and abilities to solve problems. Some of the skills acquired in the project-based learning process include problem-solving skills and communication skills. The study aimed to determine students' perceptions of project-based learning in applied biochemistry courses. Information on student acceptance was obtained from questionnaires distributed to students and observations made by teachers. The descriptive qualitative method was used in this research and the result showed a positive perception of project-based learning in applied biochemistry courses. From the students' perceptions, project-based learning is interesting to learn, closely related and applicable in daily life. In addition, understanding and skills can be improved through this activity.

Abstrak: Pembelajaran di abad 21 ini, tidak hanya belajar tentang pengetahuan saja, tetapi belajar tentang beberapa kemampuan dan keterampilan untuk menyelesaikan berbagai masalah. Keterampilan yang diperoleh dalam proses pembelajaran berbasis proyek antara lain keterampilan untuk menyelesaikan masalah dan keterampilan untuk berkomunikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui presepsi mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada mata kuliah biokimia terapan. Informasi tentang presepsi mahasiswa diperoleh dari angket yang dibagikan kepada mahasiswa dan observasi yang dilakukan oleh pengajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan presepsi yang positif terhadap pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada matakuliah biokimia terapan. Berdasarkan presepsi siswa, pembelajaran berbasis proyek menarik untuk dipelajari, berkaitan erat dan bermanfaat di dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Melalui kegiatan pembelajaran ini, mahasiswa mampu untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan.
