PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS PROYEK BERBANTUAN LAB VIRTUAL TERHADAP KREATIVITAS MAHASISWA

Abstract


ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra-eksperimen dalam bentuk one case study. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis perbedaan kreativitas mahasiswa sebelum dan setelah diberikan perlakuan berupa model pembelajaran berbasis proyek berbantuan lab virtual. Laboratorium virtual yang dimaksud menggunakan aplikasi Tinkercad yang menyediakan berbagai piranti elektronik untuk praktikum elektronika. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini adalah 15 orang mahasiswa semester V program studi pendidikan Fisika, FMIPA, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha tahun akademik 2020/2021 pada mata kuliah praktikum elektronika. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan uji-t dengan bantuan SPSS. Penelitian dilakukan selama 8 minggu yaitu tahap pertama adalah sebelum perlakuan selama 2 minggu, kemudian tahap kedua setelah perlakuan selama 6 minggu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kreativitas mahasiswa yang signifikan antara sebelum dan setelah diberikan perlakuan. Terdapat empat dimensi kreativitas yang dianalisis yaitu kelancaran, fleksibilitas, keaslian, dan elaborasi. Rerata kreativitas mahasiswa sebelum perlakuan sebesar 59,87 dengan kategori sedang, sedangkan setelah perlakuan sebesar 79,07 dengan kategori tinggi.

ABSTRACT

This research is a pre-experimental study in the form of a one case study. The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences in student creativity before and after being given treatment. The treatment was project-based learning model assisted by virtual lab. The virtual laboratory used the Tinkercad application which provides various electronic devices for electronics practicum. The population and sample of this study were 15 fifth semester students of the Physics education study program, FMIPA, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha in the academic year 2020/2021 in the electronics practicum course. Data were analyzed descriptively and t-test by using SPSS. The research was conducted for 8 weeks, namely the first stage was before treatment for 2 weeks, then the second stage after treatment for 6 weeks. The results showed that there were significant differences in student creativity between before and after being given treatment. There are four dimensions of creativity that are analyzed, namely fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The mean creativity of students before treatment was 59.87 in the medium category, while after treatment was 79.07 in the high category.
