Existing restrictions between countries will slow down economic activity, reduce productivity, and reduce demand (consumption, exports of services, imports of services, investment, exports and imports of goods), which of course will also affect the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) significantly in every country in the world. world. This research is qualitative research using the literature study method. To obtain relevant studies, some literature related to this research was collected. Several sectors have played a major role in the development of GDP during the COVID-19 pandemic, namely the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Sector; Information and Communication Sector; and the Health Services and Social Activities Sector. In addition to these policies, many companies have decided to carry out large-scale Termination of Employment (PHK) due to the decline in business due to the COVID-19 pandemic which has further increased the number of unemployed and decreased wages received. The community made several adjustments to their needs or eliminated several types of family expenses that were still possible, namely replacing rice as food with other sources of carbohydrates. As for the side dishes, they choose to find a source of income from other additional jobs.
