Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of population and family planning management policies implemented by the Mataram City Population and Family Planning Office in controlling population growth. The policy focuses on increasing access to family planning services and encouraging a nuclear family culture and has been implemented. Using qualitative research methods, this research concludes that although the policy is promising in reducing population growth, further improvements and expansion are needed to be able to address this problem effectively. The results of this research contribute to the ongoing debate regarding the role of Mataram city government policy through the Population Control and Family Planning Service (DPPKB) in addressing population growth and the need for more effective and sustainable solutions.
