Technology-Based Transformation Of The Youth Organization In Mataram City Information System
Abstract
Muhammadiyah Youth in Mataram City plays a strategic role in supporting social movements and da'wah at the local level. However, the challenges of digital transformation remain a major obstacle, particularly in managing the organization's information system, which has been conventional in nature. This community service activity aims to develop an integrated and adaptive web-based information system to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and transparency of organizational governance. The implementation method uses a participatory-collaborative approach through stages of observation, focus group discussions, system design, technical training, and the preparation of digitalization SOPs. The results of the activity show that the information system developed is capable of increasing reporting efficiency by up to 70%, strengthening activity documentation, and encouraging member participation through organizational data transparency. The main challenges lie in human resource readiness, organizational cultural resistance, and a lack of internal regulations. However, through the active involvement of administrators and an educational approach, digital transformation can be widely accepted. This activity has made a real contribution to strengthening the capacity of youth organizations to be responsive to technological developments and can be replicated for similar organizations in other regions.
