Dampak Bullying Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa

Abstract


Motivasi belajar merupakan rangsangan yang dibangun dalam pembelajaran dengan prinsip meningkatkan sikap dan keterampilan dengan berbagai cara misalnya penggunaan model inovatif, metode, dan media pembelajaran. Namun, dalam pendidikan tidak hanya melihat aspek kognitif saja, akan tetapi perlu diprioritaskan juga aspek lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan dampak bullying terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Jumlah informan yang dilibatkan sebanyak 6 orang dengan terdiri atas 4 korban bullying, 2 guru PKn dan guru Bimbingan Konseling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, interview mendalam dan analisis dokumen. Analisis data menggunakan analisis model interaktif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dampak bullying terhadap motivasi belajar siswa yaitu siswa memiliki malu berkomunikasi dengan teman kelas karena selalu di ejek, belajar tidak nyaman, memicu konflik antar kelompok/geng pelajar, suka menyendiri, dampak psikologis anak. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk menghindari dampak bullying terhadap motivasi belajar di sekolah yaitu upaya preventif oleh kepolisian, TNI dalam memberikan sosialisasi dampak buruk terhadap perbuatan bullying, pemerintahan daerah menyusun kebijakan yang mengatur khsusus tentang bullying di sekolah, keluarga berperan penting dalam mengontrol dan mengawasi pergaulan anak, sekolah terus berperan dengan mengkampayekan dampak negatif bullying, dan pelibatan masyarakat untuk ikut mengawasi dan mengontrol kinerja sekolah.

 

Learning motivation is a stimulus built into learning with the principle of improving attitudes and skills in various ways, such as using innovative models, methods, and learning media. However, education does not only look at cognitive aspects; other aspects also need to be prioritized. This study aims to explain the impact of bullying on student learning motivation. This research method is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The number of informants involved was six people consisting of 4 victims of bullying, 2 Civics teachers, and Guidance Counselling teachers. Data collection using observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Analyses data using interactive model analysis. The results of this study show the impact of bullying on student learning motivation. Namely, students have the embarrassment of communicating with classmates because they are constantly ridiculed, learning is uncomfortable, triggers conflicts between groups/gangs of students, likes to be alone, and has a psychological impact on children. Efforts made to avoid the impact of bullying on learning motivation in schools are preventive efforts by the police, the TNI in providing socialization of the adverse effects of bullying, local governments formulate policies that regulate bullying in schools, families play an essential role in controlling and supervising children's associations, schools continue to play a role by campaigning for the adverse effects of bullying, and community involvement to participate in supervising and controlling School Performance.
