Identifikasi Potentially Inappropriate Medication pada Pasien Geriatri Menggunakan Kriteria Beers 2023 dan STOPP Versi 3

Abstract


Lanjut usia (≥60 tahun) rentan mengalami penurunan fungsi organ dan penyakit degeneratif yang meningkatkan penggunaan banyak obat (polifarmasi), sehingga berisiko mengalami Potentially Inappropriate Medication (PIM) dan Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR). Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan karakteristik pasien geriatri serta kejadian PIM berdasarkan kriteria Beers dan STOPP pada pasien dengan hipertensi, diabetes melitus, dan/atau dislipidemia di RS TK.II 03.01.05 Dustira Kota Cimahi. Penelitian retrospektif dilakukan terhadap 126 rekam medis periode Juli 2023–Agustus 2024. Hasil menunjukkan mayoritas pasien berjenis kelamin perempuan (58,73%), berusia 60–69 tahun (38,89%), didiagnosis hipertensi (47,62%), dan menggunakan 1–4 obat (49,20%). Berdasarkan kriteria Beers maupun STOPP, PIM paling banyak ditemukan pada golongan sulfonilurea, terutama glimepirid dan gliklazid, baik pada awal terapi maupun bulan ke-3.
