PENINGKATAN KESADARAN MENJAGA KESEHATAN DIRI DAN LINGKUNGAN PADA ANAK USIA SEKOLAH

Abstract


ABSTRAK

Profil kesehatan Provinsi NTB pada tahun 2021 menunjukkan bahwa nilai Angka Harapan Hidup (AHH) Kabupaten Lombok Tengah masih di bawah nilai Provinsi NTB sebesar 0.31. Lombok Tengah merupakan kabupaten yang berada di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB), dimana jumlah penduduk terbanyak berada pada kategori usia sekolah (6-12 tahun). Anak usia sekolah rentan sekali mengalami gangguan kesehatan. Rendahnya AHH menjadi indikator bahwa derajat kesehatan di Kabupaten Lombok Tengah perlu ditingkatkan melalui kegiatan berupa edukasi Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS). Tujuan dari pelaksanaan kegiatan edukasi PHBS adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kepedulian terkait PHBS kepada anak usia sekolah. Sasaran dalam kegiatan ini yaitu peserta didik di SD Negeri 2 Batukliang, Lombok Tengah. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan edukasi berupa penyuluhan melalui media gambar dan video, praktek, dialog interaktif seputar PHBS dan permainan. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan ( pretest dan posttest ) menunjukkan kenaikan nilai rerata posttest sebesar 59.08%, Kegiatan edukasi ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman peserta terkait PHBS.

ABSTRACT\

The health profile of the Province of NTB in 2021 shows that the value of life expectancy (VOLE) in Central Lombok district is below than Province of NTB, which is 0.31. Central Lombok is a district in the Province of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), with the largest population in the school age range (6-12 years old). The category of school-age children is very vulnerable to getting health problems. The low of VOLE is an indicator that the health status in Central Lombok district needs to be improved through hygienic and healthy behavior education (PHBS). The aim of this activity is to increase knowledge,  awareness about the importance of PHBS for school-age children. The targets in PHBS education are students at State Elementary School 02 Batukliang, Central Lombok. The methods used in this activity are counseling using image and video media, PHBS practice, interactive dialogue and games. The results of the activity evaluation (pretest and posttest) showed an increase in the average posttest score of 59.08%. This educational activity succeeded in increasing the participants knowledge and understanding of PHBS.
