Sosialisasi aplikasi “SI-TEKAN” (Sistem Deteksi Dini Hipertensi) berbasis algoritma risiko komunitas pada masyarakat usia produktif
Abstract

Abstract
Hypertension is a non-communicable disease that often presents without symptoms (a silent killer), yet it can lead to various cardiovascular complications. Low awareness among individuals of productive age regarding routine blood pressure monitoring, along with the absence of a digital screening system at the village level, poses significant challenges to early hypertension detection efforts. This community service program aimed to develop and implement the SI-TEKAN application (Hypertension Early Detection System), a community risk algorithm-based digital tool designed to help individuals independently identify their risk of hypertension and improve health literacy. The method employed was a Community-Based Participatory Approach (CBPA) combined with Research and Development (R&D). A total of 46 participants of productive age were involved in the program. Screening results revealed that 65.2% of respondents were categorized as prehypertensive, while 17.4% had Grade 1 hypertension. The predominant risk factors identified included high salt consumption (100%), regular coffee consumption (93.5%), exposure to cigarette smoke or smoking habits (39.1%), and overweight or obesity (32.6%). The program also enhanced community understanding of hypertension and the importance of early detection. The SI-TEKAN program and application represent an effective community-based digital health innovation that supports the early detection of hypertension.
