Pelatihan smart teaching untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru SMK dalam pembelajaran berbasis teknologi digital

Perkembangan teknologi digital menuntut guru SMK untuk mampu mengimplementasikan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi secara efektif dan interaktif. Namun, masih terdapat guru yang mengalami kendala dalam penggunaan Learning Management System (LMS), media pembelajaran interaktif, dan platform evaluasi digital pada proses pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menerapkan konsep Smart Teaching berbasis teknologi digital. Mitra kegiatan adalah SMK YTK Kimia Palembang dengan peserta sebanyak 15 orang guru. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui empat tahapan, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan tindak lanjut. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan demonstrasi, praktik langsung, pendampingan, dan evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Materi pelatihan meliputi penggunaan LMS, pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan Canva, penggunaan Kahoot dan Google Forms sebagai media evaluasi digital, serta penerapan Smart Teaching dalam pembelajaran berbasis teknologi digital. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berjalan dengan baik dan mampu meningkatkan kompetensi peserta pada seluruh indikator penilaian. Rata-rata skor pre-test sebesar 2,77 meningkat menjadi 4,65 pada post-test dengan persentase peningkatan sebesar 68,25%. Selain itu, peserta mampu membuat media pembelajaran digital interaktif dan mulai menerapkan teknologi digital dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pelatihan Smart Teaching terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi digital guru SMK dan mendukung transformasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi digital.

Abstract
The development of digital technology requires vocational school teachers to implement technology-based learning effectively and interactively. However, many teachers still experience difficulties in using Learning Management Systems (LMS), interactive learning media, and digital evaluation platforms in the learning process. This community service activity aimed to improve teachers’ competencies in implementing Smart Teaching based on digital technology. The target partner of this activity was SMK YTK Kimia Palembang, involving 25 teachers as participants. The activity consisted of four stages, namely preparation, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. The implementation methods included demonstrations, hands-on practice, mentoring, and evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests. The training materials covered LMS utilization, interactive learning media development using Canva, the use of Kahoot and Google Forms for digital evaluation, and the implementation of Smart Teaching in digital-based learning. The results showed that the training activity successfully improved participants’ competencies in all assessment indicators. The average pre-test score increased from 2.77 to 4.65 in the post-test, with an average improvement percentage of 68.25%. In addition, participants successfully developed interactive digital learning media and began implementing digital technology in classroom learning activities. Therefore, the Smart Teaching training effectively improved vocational school teachers’ digital competencies and supported the transformation of digital-based learning.
