Abstract

Abstract
The phenomenon of bullying among elementary school students, both in direct and digital forms, has become a serious problem affecting the psychological, social, and academic well-being of students. UPTD SD Negeri 5 Metro Utara, as the partner of this activity, faces the challenge of limited student understanding of internet ethics (digital civility) and low capacity for positive social interaction among school community members. This community service activity aims to strengthen the understanding and skills related to digital civility and positive social interaction as a preventive measure against bullying behavior in elementary school settings. The activity was conducted from March to May 2026 at UPTD SD Negeri 5 Metro Utara, Metro City, Lampung, involving 68 students from grades IV, V, and VI, as well as 12 teachers and education staff. Implementation methods included socialization, interactive workshops, role-playing activities, and periodic monitoring. Evaluation was conducted through pre-tests and post-tests as well as direct observation. The results showed a 72% increase in students's understanding of digital civility, a 68% improvement in positive social interaction skills, and a 55% decrease in reported bullying cases during the evaluation period. Teachers also demonstrated enhanced capacity in detecting and handling bullying cases more systematically. This activity successfully created a safer, more inclusive, and child-friendly school ecosystem grounded in digital character development.
