PKM guna kalaborasi mahasiswa arsitektur beberapa perguruan tinggi dalam perancangan kota hijau dan smart city lingkungan berdampak
Abstract

Abstract
Rapid urban development necessitates a workforce competent in designing urban environments that are adaptive, green, smart, and sustainable. Architecture students, as future professionals, play a strategic role in generating design ideas that integrate ecological, technological, social, and aesthetic aspects into urban planning. Students' understanding of green and smart city concepts—and their application in sustainable environmental design—requires further strengthening through practice-based learning and collaboration. This activity aims to enhance the competence of architecture students from various universities in understanding, analyzing, and designing urban environments guided by the principles of green cities, smart cities, and sustainable development. The program was conducted via workshops featuring conceptual presentations, interactive discussions, case studies, observations of urban environmental issues, practical design concept development, and the presentation and evaluation of design outcomes. Participants included 150 students from various universities in South Sumatra. The results demonstrate that participants successfully addressed environmental issues, formulated design solutions, and integrated digital technology, energy efficiency, green open spaces, sustainable mobility, resource management, and community needs into their designs. This initiative fostered inter-university academic collaboration and yielded design ideas that are more innovative, adaptive, and responsive to urban challenges. Ultimately, the activity is expected to contribute to strengthening student competence while supporting the creation of urban environments that are sustainable, inclusive, and focused on the community's quality of life.
