Green entrepreneurship berbasis masyarakat: transformasi manajemen pilah sampah rumah tangga sebagai sumber pendapatan tambahan

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan manajemen pilah sampah rumah tangga sebagai wujud green entrepreneurship yang dapat menjadi sumber penghasilan tambahan bagi ibu-ibu rumah tangga. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada kelompok Dasawisma RW 4 Sekargading Barat, Desa Delikrejosari, Kelurahan Kalisegoro, Kecamatan Gunungpati, Kota Semarang. Metode yang digunakan meliputi literasi, edukasi, dan praktik langsung dengan menerapkan fungsi manajemen (perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, serta pengawasan dan evaluasi). Masyarakat diajarkan memilah sampah organik, anorganik, dan residu, serta mengelola sampah bernilai ekonomi seperti plastik, kardus, dan minyak jelantah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan pemahaman dan kesadaran yang lebih baik (berdasarkan observasi) masyarakat dalam memilah sampah sejak dari sumber. Sampah anorganik yang sebelumnya dibuang kini menjadi sumber pendapatan tambahan melalui penjualan ke pengepul. Selain manfaat ekonomi, program ini juga menghasilkan manfaat sosial berupa meningkatnya partisipasi masyarakat, penguatan gotong royong, dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan. Program ini membuktikan bahwa manajemen pilah sampah berbasis Dasawisma mampu membangun semangat green entrepreneurship, memberdayakan perempuan, serta mendukung pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), khususnya SDG 8 (Pekerjaan Layak dan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi), SDG 11 (Kota dan Pemukiman Berkelanjutan), serta SDG 12 (Konsumsi dan Produksi yang Bertanggung Jawab).

Abstract
This community service program aims to implement household waste sorting management as a form of green entrepreneurship that can serve as an additional source of income for housewives. The activity was conducted in the Dasawisma group of RW 4 Sekargading Barat, Delikrejosari Village, Kalisegoro Subdistrict, Gunungpati District, Semarang City. The methods employed included literacy, education, and direct practical training by applying the management functions of planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. Participants were taught to sort waste into organic, inorganic, and residual categories, as well as to manage economically valuable waste such as plastics, cardboard, and used cooking oil. The results showed improved community understanding and awareness (based on observation and reflection) regarding waste sorting at the source. Inorganic waste, previously discarded, has now become an additional source of income through regular sales to collectors. In addition to economic benefits, the program also generated social benefits, including increased community participation, strengthened social solidarity (gotong royong), and greater environmental awareness. This program demonstrates that Dasawisma-based household waste sorting management can foster a green entrepreneurship mindset, empower women, and contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).
