PELATIHAN PENGEMBANGAN ENTREPRENEUR BERBASIS POTENSI DIRI DALAM PENGUATAN KARAKTER GENERASI MILENIAL DI YAYASAN DVIPANTARA SAMSKRTAM

Generasi milenial yang kurang ilmu pengetahuan moral dan agama, maka akan mudah terlena dan terpengaruh oleh kemajuan zaman. Pesatnya perkembangan zaman akan berdampak terhadap SDM Generasi milenial. Oleh karena itu, generasi milenial harus bisa mempersiapkan karakter yang baik dari terjangan arus globalisasi. Arus modernisasi telah banyak memberi perubahan dalam kehidupan generasi milenial. Yang menyedihkan perubahan yang terjadi cenderung mengarah pada krisis karakter moral dan akhlak. Krisis ini tidak hanya terjadi pada generasi milenial perkotaan, tetapi juga generasi milenial pedesaan. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya kegiatan penguatan karakter, seperti pengabdian pelatihan Pengembangan Entrepreneur Berbasis Potensi Diri untuk menguatkan karakter generasi milenial. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Yayasan Dvipantara Samskrtam pada tanggal 16 sampai dengan 18 April 2021. Subjek pengabdian ini adalah pemuda-pemudi (teruna-teruni Sansekerta) yang berjumlah 15 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengamdian ini adalah metode PALS (participatory action learning system) dengan lankah-langkah sebagai berikut : (1) Identifikasi masalah tentang potensi diri pemuda-pemudi; (2) pelatihan atau pemberian materi tentang potensi diri, kewirausahaan, dan karakter, (3) analisis pengembangan ide entrepreneur sesuai potensi diri pemuda-pemudi; (4) melaksankan pendampingan dan bimbingan; dan (5) evaluasi ide usaha pemuda. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode PALS (Participatory Action Learning System). Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan pengembangan entrepreneur berbasis potensi diri dapat menguatakan karakter generasi milenial. Hal itu terlihat dari respons positif peserta pelatihan terhadap kegiatan pengabdian.

ABSTRACT

The millennial generation who lacks moral and religious knowledge will be easily complacent and influenced by the progress of the times. The rapid development of the times will have an impact on the human resources of the millennial generation. Therefore, the millennial generation must be able to prepare good characters from the brunt of globalization. The current of modernization has brought many changes in the lives of the millennial generation. The sad thing is that the changes that occur tend to lead to a crisis of moral and moral character. This crisis is not only happening to the urban millennial generation, but also to the rural millennial generation. Therefore, it is necessary to have character strengthening activities, such as the service of Self-Potential-Based Entrepreneur Development training to strengthen the character of the millennial generation. This service activity was carried out at the Samskrtam Dvipantara Foundation on April 16 to 18 2021. The subjects of this service were young people (Sanskrit teruna-teruni) totaling 15 people. The method used in this study is the PALS (participatory action learning system) method with the following steps: (1) Identification of problems regarding the potential of young people; (2) training or providing material on self-potential, entrepreneurship, and character, (3) analysis of the development of entrepreneurial ideas according to the potential of young people; (4) implementing mentoring and guidance; and (5) evaluation of youth business ideas. This service is carried out using the PALS (Participatory Action Learning System) method. The results of this service show that self-potential-based entrepreneurial development training can strengthen the character of the millennial generation. This can be seen from the positive response of the training participants to service activities.
