Perkembangan Strategi Pencegahan Penularan Penyakit HIV Berbasis Digital Health: A Systematic Literature Review Tahun 2018–2025

Dimas Rizki Pratama

Abstract

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) remains a major global public health challenge, requiring innovative prevention strategies through digital health technologies. This study aimed to analyze the development of digital health-based HIV prevention strategies published between 2018 and 2025, evaluate their effectiveness, and identify research gaps. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with a descriptive qualitative approach was conducted following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Data were collected from Google Scholar, Scopus, DOAJ, Elicit, Scite.ai, and SciSpace. Eligible studies were full-text articles published between 2018 and 2025 in English or Indonesian addressing digital health interventions for HIV prevention. The findings indicate that mHealth, eHealth, telemedicine, social media, mobile applications, websites, and AI-based chatbots effectively improve HIV knowledge, preventive behaviors, ART and PrEP adherence, healthcare access, and HIV testing uptake. However, challenges remain regarding data security, digital literacy, infrastructure, and technology access. This review provides evidence supporting integrated, effective, and sustainable HIV prevention policies and practices
