PENGUATAN PERAN SOCIAL SUPPORT IBU HAMIL SEBAGAI UPAYA MEWUJUDKAN KEHAMILAN DAN PERSALINAN YANG SEHAT

Abstract


Abstrak: Dukungan sosial memberikan dampak positif bagi kesehatan seseorang, termasuk juga pada ibu hamil. Ibu hamil dengan dukungan sosial yang baik cenderung lebih siap secara psikologi dan mengalami penyulit kehamilan minimal, sehingga keturunan yang dihasilkan dalam keadaan sehat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, kesadaran dan kesediaan social supporter ibu hamil melakukan pendampingan selama periode kehamilannya, guna terciptanya kehamilan dan persalinan yang sehat baik untuk bayi maupun ibu. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Klasaman. Telah dilakukan pendampingan pada social supporter ibu hamil selama 8 bulan (Maret-November) terhadap 10 ibu hamil. Kegiatan pendampingan menunjukkan hasil yang positif, baik dari kualitas ANC ibu (100% tercapai ANC K6) maupun luaran kehamilan yang ditunjukkan dengan kondisi bayi dan ibu sehat (tidak ada komplikasi neonatus maupun komplikasi pada ibu pasca salin).

Abstract: Social support contributes positively to a person's health, including the influence of social support on pregnant women. Pregnant women who receive good social support tend to experience better psychological readiness and experience minimum incidence of pregnancy complications, and have healthy offspring. This community service activity is carried out to increase knowledge, awareness and willingness the social supporters of pregnant women to provide assistance during pregnancy, in order to create a healthy pregnancy and birth for both baby and mother. Community service activities was carried out in the Klasaman Community Health Center working area. Social support for pregnant women has been provided for 8 months (March-November) for 10 pregnant women. The supporting activities showed positive results, both in terms of the quality of the mother's ANC (100% achieved ANC K6) and pregnancy outcomes as indicated by the condition of the baby and mother being healthy (without neonatal maternal complications).
