Abstract

Abstract: Comprehensive solid waste management is the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) target in 2030. The waste problem becomes important in the COVID-19 pandemic. An infectious enhancement waste such as used mask from the household is 20% which has not been managed properly. It increases the sanitation decline, viruses’ transmission and endanger health. In line with the central government's policy on SDGs and the Tohudan Village policy, it is necessary to educate the public regarding infectious waste management. The education goals are increasing people's knowledge and awareness regarding infectious waste management to create an independent waste management movement towards Sanitation & Green Village. The implementing method was divided into four stages, namely (1) preparation such as the team and the community partner coordination (2) implementation such as theory debriefing, practice, and discussion (3) Evaluation (4) data processing. The data processing results show that this activity can increase people's knowledge and awareness regarding infectious waste management during the COVID-19 pandemic around 21%.
