SOSIALISASI EDUKASI PENTINGNYA AKTIFITAS FISIK PADA LANSIA DI MASA PANDEMI COVID

Abstract


Abstrak: Lansia merupakan kelompok yang rentan terhadap berbagai gangguan kesehatan akibat perubahan fisiologis dan psikologis. Walaupun jumlah kasus Corona saat ini telah menurun namun melakukan aktifitas fisik dan olahraga secara teratur di masa pandemi Covid-19 dapat menjaga kebugaran tubuh dan meningkatkan imunitas sehingga lansia terhindar dari virus Corona. Lansia harus selalu diberdayakan sehingga tetap sehat, aktif, dan produktif. Tujuan dilaksanakan pengabdian masyarakat adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan lansia tentang pentingnya aktifitas fisik di masa pandemi Covid-19. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di rumah ketua kader lansia dengan metode pendidikan kesehatan. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah ibu ibu yang berada di Posyandu lansia RW 03 Kelurahan Simpang baru Panam Kecamatan Tampan Kota Pekanbaru dengan jumlah 15 orang. Kegiatan diawali dengan pemberian masker dan pengukuran tekanan darah.Kegiatan inti edukasi diawali dengan apersepsi tentang aktifitas fisik yang dilakukan lansia dan diakhiri dengan diskusi atau tanya jawab. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui tanya jawab terhadap materi yang telah disampaikan. Hasil akhir kegiatan adalah terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan lansia dari 55% menjadi 95% yang terlihat dari adanya antusias lansia saat mendengarkan materi, dan keinginan untuk menerapkan perilaku sehat dengan selalu melakukan aktifitas fisik secara teratur.

Abstrak: The elderly are a group that is vulnerable to various health problems due to their physiological and psychological changes. Although the number of corona virus cases has now decreased, doing physical activities and exercising regularly during the Covid-19 pandemic can maintain body fitness and increase immunity so that they are protected from corona virus. The elderly must always be empowered to remain healthy, active, and productive. This community service aims to increase the elderly knowledge about the importance of physical activity during the Covid-19 pandemic. There were 15 women in elderly health center RW 03 Simpang Baru Panam Tampan Subdistrict Pekanbaru city who became the partners in this program. The program was done at the house of the elderly cadre using a health education method. It began with giving masks to the elderly and measuring their blood pressure. The main activity began with apperception about physical activities done by the elderly and ended with a discussion or question and answer session. The evaluation of this program was done by giving questions related to the topics given. The result of the program was an increase of elderly knowledge from 55% to 95% which can be seen from their enthusiasm when listening to explanation, and their desire to implement healthy behaviour by regularly doing physical activity.
