PEMBERDAYAAN LANSIA MELALUI SENAM LANSIA UNTUK PENCEGAHAN HIPERTENSI DI DUSUN KALO KECAMATAN LELAK

Hipertensi menjadi salah satu penyakit yang menyerang lansia karena mulai berkurangnya sistem kerja tubuh. Lansia merupakan salah satu kelompok yang rentan dan beresiko terhadap penyakit. Proses penuaan merupakan proses yang mengakibatkan perubahan-perubahan meliputi perubahan fisik, psikologis, sosial dan spiritual. Hipertensi yang tidak dapat diobati bahkan dicegah secara dini dapat menyebabkan resiko yang paling besar yaitu kematian. Latihan fisik seperti senam yang teratur juga membantu mencegah keadaan-keadaan atau penyakit kronis, seperti tekanan darah tinggi (hipertensi). Lokasi kegiatan ini di dusun Kalo, Desa Lentang dan dilakukan pada tanggal 12 Desember 2022. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diikuti oleh 12 orang peserta dan dilaksanakan melalui 5 tahap yang dimulai dari persiapan sampai dengan tahap evaluasi. Sasaran dalam kegiatan adalah lansia usia 45-65 tahun yang berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan mengalami hipertensi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah semua perserta antusias terlibat dalam senam yang dilakukan selama 3 hari berturut-turut. Setelah dilakukan evaluasi pengukuran tekanan darah terbukti menurun setelah aktif mengikuti senam sesuai jadwal yang sudah ditentukan.

ABSTRACT
Hypertension is one of the diseases that attack the elderly because the body's work system begins to decrease. Elderly is a group that is vulnerable and at risk of disease. The aging process is a process that results in changes including physical, psychological, social and spiritual changes. Hypertension that cannot be treated and even prevented early can cause the greatest risk, namely death. Physical exercise such as regular exercise also helps prevent chronic conditions or diseases, such as high blood pressure (hypertension). The location of this activity is in the Kalo hamlet, Lentang Village and will be held on December 12, 2022. The community service activities are carried out through 5 stages starting from the preparation to the evaluation stage. The target in the activity is the elderly aged 45-65 years who, based on the results of the examination, have hypertension. The result of this activity was that all participants were enthusiastically involved in the exercise which was carried out for 3 consecutive days. After evaluating blood pressure measurements it was proven to decrease after actively participating in gymnastics according to a predetermined schedule.
