Pengabdian masyarakat : optimalisasi keluarga dalam pengolahan jahe dan lemon guna peningkatan ekonomi melalui pelatihan produk hilirisasi
Abstract
Pemerintah sedang menggalakkan kemandirian ekonomi keluarga, salah satunya dengan memfasilitasi masyarakat untuk membuka peluang usaha menengah kebawah (UMK). Penelitian dosen terkait jahe dan lemon menunjukkan manfaat yang tinggi bagi kesehatan ibu dan anak, dan dapat membantu secara ekonomi melalui produksi olahannya. Oleh karena itu dilakukan pengabdian masyarakat dengan skema program pengembangan kewirausaahaan (PPK). Pelatihan diberikan kepada kader kesehatan dan ibu rumah tangga di wilayah Puskesmas Gang Kelor Bogor dan Kecamatan Menteng Kota Bogor pada Bulan Februari-September 2025, sebanyak 10 orang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pelatihan dengan orientasi menghasilkan produk. Tujuan dan target pelatihan adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam membuat olahan jahe dan lemon serta meningkatkan income keluarga melalui produksi produk olahan tersebut. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat yaitu terlaksananya kegiatan pelatihan selama 2 semester sejumlah 14 kegiatan. Setelah 3 bulan didapatkan hasil akhir terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan terkait mindset of bussines, pengolahan jahe dan lemon, perhitungan modal dan harga jual produk, serta majemen keuangan. Keterampilan mitra dalam pengolahan jahe dan lemon juga meningkat dibuktikan dengan adanya produksi produk dan mampu dijual sehingga dapat meningkatkan income dalam keluarga.

Abstract
The government is promoting family economic independence, one of which is by facilitating the community to open micro to small business opportunities (UMK). Research by lecturers related to ginger and lemon shows high benefits for the health of mothers and children and can help economically through processed products. Therefore, community service is carried out with the entrepreneurship development program (PPK) scheme. Training is provided to health cadres and housewives in the Gang Kelor Health Center area in Bogor and Menteng District, Bogor City from February to September 2025, totaling 10 people. The method used is training with a product-oriented approach. The purpose and target of the training are to increase participants' knowledge and skills in making ginger and lemon products and to increase family income through the production of those processed products. The result of the community service is the implementation of 14 training activities over 2 semesters.After 3 months, the final results showed an increase in knowledge related to business mindset, the processing of ginger and lemon, calculation of capital and product selling price, as well as financial management. Partners' skills in processing ginger and lemon also improved, as evidenced by product production and being able to be sold, thus increasing family income.
