Abstract

Abstract
Effective transportation planning requires accurate and representative traffic data. One important indicator in traffic analysis is Average Daily Traffic (ADT), which shows the average number of vehicles passing through a road section in a day. However, the limited competence of technical personnel in conducting traffic surveys and data analysis is often a challenge in implementing data-based transportation planning. This community service activity aims to improve the technical staff of CV. Keinara's ability to conduct surveys, process, and analyze ADT data to support transportation engineering planning. The methods used in this activity include identifying training needs, delivering theoretical material, conducting traffic survey practices, providing assistance in data processing, and evaluating through pre- and post-tests. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of traffic survey concepts and LHR calculation techniques. The average pretest score of participants was 56.3, increasing to 82.4 on the posttest after training. This shows that training and mentoring activities can improve the competence of technical personnel in traffic data processing. Thus, this activity is expected to support the implementation of more accurate and data-based transportation planning within the company.
