Pemberdayaan petugas rekam medis melalui pemanfaatan AI dalam pembuatan SIMKLINIK bagian pendaftaran pasien

Proses pendaftaran pasien di Klinik Jaya Kusuma Husada Kepanjen masih dilakukan secara manual, sedangkan petugas belum memiliki pengalaman dalam mengembangkan sistem informasi sederhana. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan serta membekali petugas rekam medis dengan keterampilan dasar pemanfaatan artificial intelligence (AI) sebagai alat bantu pembuatan prototipe Sistem Informasi Manajemen Klinik (SIMKLINIK) bagian pendaftaran pasien. Sasaran kegiatan adalah tiga petugas yang terlibat dalam pelayanan pendaftaran. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 3, 6, dan 17 Juni 2026 melalui tahapan koordinasi, pretest, edukasi konsep AI dan SIMKLINIK, demonstrasi penyusunan prompt, pengenalan HTML, CSS, dan JavaScript, praktik pembuatan prototipe, uji coba, observasi keterampilan, dan posttest. Pengetahuan dievaluasi menggunakan 10 soal pretest dan posttest, sedangkan keterampilan dinilai pada akhir kegiatan menggunakan lembar observasi praktik yang mencakup kemampuan mengakses platform AI, menyusun prompt, menyalin dan menyimpan kode, menjalankan prototipe, menginput data uji, menguji fungsi, serta memberikan instruksi perbaikan kepada AI. Nilai rata-rata pengetahuan meningkat dari 45,00 menjadi 80,00 atau naik 35 poin, setara dengan peningkatan relatif sebesar 77,78% terhadap nilai awal. Hasil observasi akhir menunjukkan bahwa seluruh peserta mampu menjalankan tahapan dasar pembuatan dan pengujian prototipe, tetapi masih memerlukan pendampingan dalam membaca pesan kesalahan, mengidentifikasi letak kesalahan kode, menghubungkan sistem dengan basis data, dan memastikan keamanan data. Prototipe yang dihasilkan masih digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dan belum diterapkan secara operasional karena memerlukan basis data, autentikasi, hak akses, audit aktivitas, dan pengamanan data. Pelatihan berbasis demonstrasi, praktik langsung, dan iterative prompting meningkatkan pengetahuan serta membekali peserta dengan keterampilan dasar pengembangan prototipe untuk mendukung tahap awal transformasi digital klinik.

Abstract

The patient registration process at Jaya Kusuma Husada Clinic in Kepanjen is still carried out manually, while the staff have limited experience in developing a simple information system. This community service program aimed to improve the knowledge of medical records staff and equip them with basic skills in utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) as a supporting tool for developing a prototype of the patient registration module of the Clinic Management Information System (SIMKLINIK). The participants were three staff members involved in patient registration services. The program was conducted on June 3, 6, and 17, 2026, through several stages, including coordination, a pretest, education on AI and SIMKLINIK concepts, demonstrations of prompt formulation, an introduction to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, hands-on prototype development, testing, skills observation, and a posttest. Knowledge was evaluated using 10 pretest and posttest questions, while skills were assessed at the end of the program using a practical observation checklist covering the ability to access an AI platform, formulate prompts, copy and save code, run the prototype, enter test data, test its functions, and provide the AI with instructions for improvement. The mean knowledge score increased from 45.00 to 80.00, representing a gain of 35 points or a relative increase of 77.78% from the baseline score. The final observation showed that all participants were able to perform the basic stages of prototype development and testing. However, they still required assistance in interpreting error messages, identifying the location of coding errors, connecting the system to a database, and ensuring data security. The resulting prototype remains a learning tool and has not yet been implemented operationally because it still requires a database, authentication mechanisms, access controls, activity logs, and data security safeguards. Training based on demonstrations, hands-on practice, and iterative prompting improved participants’ knowledge and equipped them with basic prototype development skills to support the initial stage of the clinic’s digital transformation.
